First a disclaimer. I was a year behind the author at Hillsville High School. I never thought he would amount to much, and I guess I was pretty much right :). I bought two copies of the book so I have personally accounted for over half the sales. The first copy was for me since I once knew the author, and the second was for my no-account brother-in-law. He dabbles in writing and I wanted to prove to him that any fool could get a book published if they really wanted to.Seriously, Mike has an interesting, and most times irreverent, take on many of life's quandaries. If you are looking for something to divert your mind from the serious issues of the day, this book should put a smile on your face. And you just might learn a thing or two from that great sage Rooster Edwards!
