Deadly Provocation A Year of Domestic Surveillance TF Coleman Books
I liked this book but found it somewhat scary. The surveillance described is certainly attainable today or will be shortly. We already have drones that may deliver purchases so I was convinced that most of the things described in the book could be used. I thought the character Gabe was well developed and in the beginning when he guns down a killer in a theater to save most of them, I was caught up in the action. However Gabe gets involved in an association involving surveillance that leads him deeper into a plot involving kidnapping and romance. He turns out to be a hero again. Some of the situations were a little unbelievable but it was a good read, never the less.Tags : Amazon.com: Deadly Provocation: A Year of Domestic Surveillance (9781478703419): T.F. Deadly Provocation A Year of Domestic Surveillance TF Coleman Books Reviews
the book was very interesting. it was also scary. is our country tracking every move various people make just becuz of their purchases? their friends? I realize we have to be more careful since 9/11, but not every person needs to be monitored.
An easy to get into story that keeps moving well. Interesting and makes you wish there was already a followup.
I am presently one half through this book and so far it is just O.K. It has taken some time for the Plot to form and yet I'm clear on what the Plot will develop into.
This book almost sounded like a si-fi novel. It was more than 1/2 way through that any of it made any sense to those of us without computer savy. Whenthestory grotto evolve their was no excitement I either the haze or the rescue
I could not put this book down. It is full of adventure, you will love it. I would love to read more books by this author.
I missed the crucial 'twists and turns'. There were no gear shifts or variations in pace. The style of narration remained static through and through. That made this book an average read. Yet I am certain, Coleman has it in him to impress us with his next thriller. Look out.
The surveillance in use today can be used for both good and bad. The people have given up their right to privacy in many areas in the name of security. Coleman really highlights this in Deadly Provocation. Living"off the grid" is practically impossible, but domestic surveillance can put terrorists and criminals in the spotlight. Sometimes it spotlights people who have done nothing wrong. Does the good of domestic surveillance outweigh the bad?
